Source monitoring, obligation extraction, control mapping

The Regulatory Feed

One place where every change to federal and state regulation is matched to the control it affects. Not another inbox subscription, not another PDF to route manually. A structured feed that goes to the right person.

Every agency that touches your obligations

Regloom monitors 40+ regulatory sources continuously. Each source is versioned and polled every 4 hours so no bulletin, guidance letter, or rule amendment slips past the feed.

From clause to control, automatically

Changed regulation text is parsed using NLP-based clause extraction to isolate obligation language: phrases containing "must," "shall," "required," or "prohibited." Each obligation candidate is matched against your uploaded control library using semantic similarity scoring. Regloom does not match keyword-to-keyword: it matches obligation intent to control scope.

  • High-confidence matches are auto-tagged and routed to control owners immediately
  • Low-confidence matches are queued for compliance team review, not silently dropped
  • Cross-reference detection: when an amendment to Reg E cites EFTA section 905, both obligations enter the matching queue

Get the diff, not the document

Alerts go directly to the control owner responsible for the affected control. Delivery options include email digest, Jira ticket creation, webhook, and REST API. The alert shows exactly what changed, which control is affected, and the obligation text that changed.

Every decision logged for exam day

Every mapping decision in Regloom is logged with timestamp, the source version at time of mapping, and the reviewer who approved or overrode the match. The full audit trail exports as a PDF or CSV formatted for examiner review. Regloom is not a GRC system and does not replace your control documentation: it provides the regulatory change detection and mapping record that feeds into your existing documentation workflow.

  • Timestamp and source version logged per mapping decision
  • Reviewer attribution for all manual approvals and overrides
  • PDF audit export formatted for examiner review on Professional and Institution plans
